CUNA Caribbean Insurance the officially recognized insurance carrier for credit unions and non-credit union organizations yet again demonstrates its commitment to Creating Financial Security. A special presentation was made to Mrs. Jean Durity a beneficiary under the CUNA Caribbean Insurance, Directors and Employees Group Life Insurance(DEGL) plan was presented with a cheque which provided coverage for her and her deceased husband Mr. George Durity, a founding member and board member of the Independent Credit Union.

A special presentation was made to Mrs. Jean Durity a beneficiary under the CUNA Caribbean Insurance, Directors and Employees Group Life Insurance(DEGL) plan was presented with a cheque which provided coverage for her and her deceased husband Mr. George Durity, a founding member and board member of the Independent Credit Union. The DEGL Policy is used by the policyholder to form part of the organization's compensatory package. This policy insures the life of each eligible director and employee of the organization who are between the ages of eighteen (18) and sixty-nine (69). Apart from the full benefit amount being payable at the insured's death, the plan also allows terminated directors and employees to convert their coverage to life insurance without any evidence of insurability.
